Rand Schulman
Co-Founder | CEO
Rand is a serial entrepreneur leading several IPOs and exits, and is a pioneer in digital analytics and big data. He’s the CEO/ founder of the first SaaS-based web-analytics company, Keylime, acquired by Yahoo! and the founding CMO of analytics company WebSideStory through its IPO, (now Adobe Analytics). He has been a director and executive officer of numerous other data & digital intelligence companies including UNICA (IBM). Rand is a co-founder of the Digital Analytics Association, and teaches analytics at well-known universities. He graduated from University of the Pacific with a Literature Degree.
Jay McCarthy
Chief Product Officer
Jay is a technology industry veteran with 30 years of experience in a variety of technical and management roles. He is a self-described “recovering techie” who has been an innovator throughout his career in software, network engineering, and web applications. Prior to DMscore, Jay held senior product positions at world class marketing technology companies such as Tealium, Qubit, and Thunderhead. He has also been part of the launch of several innovative market data startups such as InsideView, InboundWriter and InsideUp. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Products for WebSideStory Inc. (now part of Adobe), which went public in 2004 where he worked with Rand.
Peter Wells
Chief Revenue Officer
Peter is a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record in the digital analytics industry. His 20+ years of executive experience has been with transformative companies delivering solutions to help client’s gain clearer business and consumer insights.
At WebsideStory (now part of Adobe), Peter played a pivotal role working closely with Rand and Jay where he was SVP of Sales, driving strategy and revenue to $130mm propelling the company’s growth and a successful IPO in 2004. He was also the executive sales leader at TouchCommerce, Certona and others which had successful outcomes including acquisitions by Nuance, Kibo and Microsoft. Most recently at Radicle Science, he drove triple digit growth, multiplied the average order value, while greatly reducing the sales cycle to help create a new and needed category.
As a lifelong athlete and coach, he strongly believes the balance of work, family, exercise and community has been a key to his success. He has seen the same significant impact on others overall well-being when applied. He is grateful to still be actively competing in ultimate frisbee on a national level and is regularly called on to advise businesses, lacrosse coaches and programs for his expertise.
Christos Tsialas
VP of Engineering
Christos has a decade of consistent, full-time engagement with software design and back-end architecture. After acquiring a solid professional foundation at the “Demokritos” National Center for Scientific Research, he quickly developed an interest in working with disruptive, web-based startups. Since 2014, he has solely designed and built three core software platforms from the ground up – DMscore, Jack & Jenny and CureCancer. Christos holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from University of Athens.
Andrew Edwards
Vice President of Client Success
Andrew Edwards is a serial technology entrepreneur, perennial iconoclast and digital marketing strategist. He built some of the very first web sites in the mid 1990s and co-founded the Digital Analytics Association in 2004. His company Technology Leaders worked with large organizations like Coca-Cola and Century21 Real Estate to measure and understand user behavior on their digital properties. In 2015 he wrote “Digital is Destroying Everything”, which predicted a number of trends that have since come to pass. On the strength of those predictions, Edwards was given the opportunity to publish a second book, due in 2024, called “Army of Liars” about disinformation and social media. Andrew has been involved with DMscore for several years. He lives in New York’s Hudson Valley with his wife and frequently makes his way into New York City.
